Nike 2005 Defy New York

  • Originally released back in 1988 the Nike Air Force III Escape Retro from 2005 was done well, very well. Retros can be a hit or miss with their quality and this retro was a grand slam. Prices have remained modest but trying to find your size wont be easy. For now check out pictures of the 2005 retro from the DeFY. New York photo vault.

  • Arguably the nicest looking vapor in the series, the Nike Air Zoom Vapor III from 2005 definitely has a presence. Worn by James Blake, this Tennis shoe is a good addition to anyones collection, although most collectors are to interested in Jordans, Air Max 90s and others to even bat an eyelash at them. If you are planing on playing tennis in these I would stick with the later releases. The comfort level for this shoe is minimal, it gives you that low profile feel but it doesnt have enough cushion. They run small, so I would suggest going a half to a full size up. Below are picture from the DeFY. New York Photo vault as well as some pics of James Blake wearing them vapor III enjoy pictures of one of the best looking sneakers to come out of Beaverton in the past 10 years.

  • The Nike Air Force 180 Mid Basketball sneaker was worn by Charles Barkley. Originally released in 1991, this shoe was brought back in 2005. The all around quality is very nice, the fit true to size. The black, blue, red colorway is an original colorway for these.

  • Today we take a look at one of our favorite shoes in arguably the best colorway. Nike Nike Air Stab Foot Patrol. This was a special colorway of the Air Stab sold exclusively at the now defunct Footpatrol store that was located in London. Nine times out of ten OG colorways are usually the best pick of the litter, except in this case. This color combo blew the OGs out of the water. So heres the low down on the shoe itself, fit wise you can stick with your true to size on these unless of course your a size 11.5 for which they didnt make your size, and a 12 will suffice. These are very comfy, although some pairs have been defective so be cautious. One known issue that we have come across is in the toe region. Due to manufacturing issues with some of the shoes the inside area of the toe box may or may not have extra padding or poor construction resulting in an uncomfortable feel in the toe region. Another notable issue, the paint NOT the midsole itself, but rather the paint will crack its unavoidable. Last these have clear midsoles so over time they will yellow. Other than that this shoe is a must have if you collect running shoes or want to own something unique. They were featured in the october/november issue of complex magazine. Below are pictures from the DeFY. New York Archive of the Footpatrol air stabs as well as the magazine if your looking for a set of these check eBay,, or any of the major forums (i.e. Niketalk, hypebeast, etc.) enjoy
